Built by Someone Who Has Sat on Your Side of the Table.
Three decades of cyber and risk practice, then a product built from the wall that work kept running into.
BlackSnow Intelligence is built by Dr John Mackenzie, a Brisbane-based cyber assurance and secure-AI specialist with three decades across banking, security and enterprise technology — 18 years in commercial banking, then enterprise cyber governance across Critical Infrastructure in power, water and gas, and advisory work on Commonwealth resources programmes.
He has served as Head of Cyber & Risk across six APRA-regulated financial groups, advised 14 billion-dollar organisations, and assessed environments holding more than US$300 billion in assets. Along the way he scaled a digital agency from zero to 65 staff in 18 months, wrote three books, and accumulated 88+ qualifications — including ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001 — alongside a Doctorate in Computer Science.
Today he builds the same discipline into products: LLM Vault for AI governance (in development), AIEOS for agentic-AI operations (in development), and Business Intelligence Hub (in development) for executive oversight — with advisory through JMacTech and education through JMac Learning.
BlackSnow points all of that at one narrow question: what can you actually prove about your data from what companies have published — and what can nobody prove?
