You do not have to do this. The pet works on its own, and everything it remembers stays in this browser. Connecting is only for people who want a dashboard.

What connecting gives you

1. Your dashboard shows the sites you have looked at, instead of only this browser showing them.
2. The pet wears the look you pick on your dashboard.
3. You tell it which country's privacy rules to hold sites to.

How to connect

1. Open your dashboard and sign in.
2. Copy the connect code it shows you.
3. Paste it below and press Save.

A connect code is not a password. If you ever want to break the link, press New code on your dashboard and this browser stops being yours.
